As a Network Engineer, the work youll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our customers. You will play a crucial role in these work areas:
- Analyzes customer requirements and provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate complexity
- Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including load balancers, routers, switches, firewalls, and networks
- Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
- Coordinates hardware and software acquisition
- Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
- Supports the design and build of hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
- Create and maintain documentation of networking processes
WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
Experience: 2+ years of related experience
Required Skills:
- Experience with network and firewall solutions, including Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, F5, and/or Palo Alto
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Location: Hybrid at GDITs Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, LA
