CUNY Hunter College Hot Job: Enrollment Registrar Coordinator (Registrar, Division of Student Affairs) (9396 hits)



The Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will report to the Enrollment Registrar Specialist. In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, the Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Assist with updating academic records to post: grades, changes of grades, academic standing and honors.
-Process transcript requests.
- Advise students regarding graduation requirements and degree progress; resolve or escalate problems as appropriate; consult with faculty and advisors to clarify issues (e.g., completion or waiver of degree requirements, honors eligibility), and obtain missing materials.
- Enter degree exceptions (e.g., substitutions, waivers, change s to requirements); maintain and update degree requirements using DegreeWorks.
- Assist with in-person requests for registration, transcripts/enrollment verifications, and change of programs.
- Create and run queries to provide data for the Registrar’s Office and the college community.
- Work occasional evening and/or weekend hours as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with registrar processes, as well as, an understanding of web-based applications and strong Microsoft Excel skills strongly preferred.
- Strong written and verbal skills required to communicate concise instructions and directions.
- Experience troubleshooting problems and communicating solutions.
- Previous work experience in a higher education environment
- Experience in Oracle/PeopleSoft Campus Solutions and with Resource 25 a plus.

CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
- Provides operational support for registration operations.
- Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
- Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
- Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
- Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
- Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education
Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
- May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
- May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
- Performs related duties as assigned.

Salary commensurate with experience ($39,282- $45,957).
